Hey guys! This is just a short post today to wish you a very merry Christmas. I hope you are having a beautiful day no matter where you are spending it and who you are enjoying it with. Thankfully we have much more freedom in the UK than we did this time last year so hopefully, many of my UK readers will have been able to make up for the disappointment that last Christmas brought us. As for my readers who live further afield, whether you have covid restrictions or not, I hope you still have a wonderful Christmas no matter what your circumstances are. I have had a beautiful Christmas as always and have been lucky enough to spend it with my family.
But spending time with family and opening presents is not all there is to Christmas from a Christian point of view. Jesus was born as a baby on that first Christmas day and he eventually grew up to become the saviour of the world. This is the true meaning of Christmas that is often hidden behind the commercialisation. I hope you might spend a few moments thinking about this over the course of the day.
So to conclude, I hope you have had a beautiful Christmas and spent it enjoying good food, good company and good presents. I will be back with a ‘Reflecting on 2021’ post soon but until then bye for now!
